The opportunity
We are looking for an enthusiastic, efficient and motivated Transport Manager to oversee and coordinate all transport operations to ensure the efficient, safe, and timely delivery of caravans and materials. This role plays a critical part in optismising logistics, managing transport schedules and maintaining compliance with industry regulations.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage a group of approved transport contractors for daily interstate road deliveries across Australia
- Expand and diversify transport contractors to provide competitive alternatives and optimise service levels
- Coordinate sea freight logistics to WA, Tasmania and New Zealand
- Complete daily purchase orders in SAP
- Investigate and report incidents including preventative actions, manage damage claims
What we are looking for
- Full Australian working rights
- Previous experience in a similar role in a medium to large organisation
- Excellent time management skills
- Current driver licence, forklift licence highly regarded
- A positive can-do attitude and problem-solving skills
- Competent computer skills, MS Excel, SAP highly regarded
