REFOCUS is seeking an Identified Recruitment Officer to support managers and candidates across the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle by providing guidance on fair, consistent and inclusive recruitment practices and processes while adding a cultural lens to the panel.

 

This role supports managers with day‑to‑day recruitment tasks by coordinating basic activities and maintaining accurate records. The role focuses on following established processes and providing practical support throughout recruitment.

About the role

As an Identified Recruitment Officer, you will:

  • Posting job advertisements and managing inboxes or applicant responses
  • Assisting with shortlisting and coordinating interview bookings
  • Communicating with candidates about interviews and outcomes
  • Coordinating pre‑employment checks and collecting required documentation
  • Maintaining recruitment records and filing information accurately
  • Assisting with initial employee induction activities, including preparing induction materials and coordinating first‑day arrangements

Pay and Conditions

Permanent Part time Position – 4-day work week

Work Location/s: Sunshine Coast, Gympie & Moreton Bay Region, QLD

Hourly pay rates range from:$37 – $45 per hour – Clerks Award

Classification level and pay rate are assessed and determined based on qualifications, experience, and demonstrated capability.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Assisting the Team Leader and Business Operations team
  • Must be highly organised
  • Strong with research and reports
  • Strong with Intake and referral services
  • Strong communications in providing information and support to internal and external stakeholders
  • Sound IT knowledge
  • Strong Data entry
  • Strong with monthly and quarterly reporting
  • Maintain program/office databases
  • Carry out inductions for new staff with shadowing
  • Enter, monitor and maintain registers and logs for cars
  • Support organisation auditing and licensing processes
  • Assist and support REFOCUS events, programs and Facebook live
  • Work under limited direction to provide business operations support

Coverage and Cross-Training Opportunities

Cross‑training will support flexibility, reduce service disruption, and ensure that essential HR and BOO functions continue to operate effectively, while maintaining clear primary ownership and accountability.

Qualification & Experience:

Must have Certificate/Diploma in Business and/or minimum of 5 years’ experience in administration or similar role,

Experience in Recruitment or similar roles

Additional requirements

  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Criminal history check
  • Ability to meet REFOCUS compliance and reporting requirements
  • Current Drivers Licence (minimum green P’s)
  • Ability to work within the 10 Child Safe Standards
