Position Overview
At Redmap, our people are at the heart of everything we do. As the Learning & Development Lead, you will be the hands-on owner of learning design and delivery across the organisation — from equipping our customers to get maximum value from our solutions, to building the product knowledge and professional capability of our internal teams.
This is a practical, delivery-focused role for someone who thrives in the detail as much as the big picture. You will design and facilitate training yourself, build out our learning content, and work closely with HR and key stakeholders to develop learning streams that are relevant, engaging, and tied to real business outcomes. You will partner with Professional Services, Solution Management, Product, and Sales to keep learning aligned with where the business is heading.
You will be the end-to-end owner for learning and development at Redmap, spanning two core pillars:
Customer Training — hands-on design and delivery of training that helps our customers successfully adopt, use, and get value from Redmap’s products.
Internal Capability Building — product onboarding for new hires, ongoing upskilling of existing employees, and leading the development of broader professional learning streams in partnership with HR.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Training — Design & Delivery
- Partner with Account Management, Professional Services, Product and Sales to identify and prioritise customer training needs across the full customer lifecycle.
- Design and personally deliver comprehensive customer training programs covering product onboarding, feature adoption, business process change, and advanced usage.
- Develop a scalable customer training curriculum with role-specific learning pathways for end users, administrators, and key stakeholders.
- Facilitate engaging training sessions for clients at all levels — from executive overviews through to hands-on technical workshops — in-person and virtually.
- Build and maintain a library of customer-facing learning assets: e-learning modules, video tutorials, quick reference guides, help articles, and webinars.
- Manage the logistics of customer training programs including scheduling, enrolment, and communications.
Internal Capability Development
- Design and deliver a structured product onboarding program that brings new Redmap employees up to speed quickly and confidently on our solutions and how we use them internally.
- Build and maintain ongoing product upskilling pathways for existing employees, ensuring the team stays current as our product evolves.
- Partner with HR to identify role-relevant learning needs across the business and co-design targeted learning streams that support individual growth and team performance.
- Take the lead on driving employee engagement in professional development — championing a culture of continuous learning, promoting available resources, and removing barriers to participation.
- Develop and facilitate internal workshops, lunch-and-learns, and structured learning events that connect people across the business and build shared capability.
- Work with HR and team leaders to identify skill gaps and build pragmatic, just-in-time learning solutions that meet people where they are.
Content Development
- Design and build engaging, instructionally sound content using a range of formats including e-learning, instructor-led workshops, blended programs, and self-paced video.
- Maintain and evolve Redmap’s content library, ensuring materials are current, accurate, and reflective of product and process changes.
- Leverage authoring tools and video conferencing platforms to produce professional-quality learning assets that work for both customers and internal learners.
- Employ a variety of instructional techniques to accommodate different learning styles and delivery contexts.
Measurement & Continuous Improvement
- Develop assessment tools and feedback mechanisms to evaluate the effectiveness and engagement of all training programs.
- Conduct learner surveys, stakeholder check-ins, and post-program reviews to surface improvement opportunities.
- Analyse training outcomes and use insights to continuously refine content and delivery approaches.
- Track and report on key training metrics including completion rates, learner satisfaction, and knowledge retention.
- Stay current with trends in learning design, SaaS customer education, and adult learning practice to bring fresh thinking into Redmap.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in a Learning & Development or training role, with demonstrated ownership of end-to-end program design and delivery.
- Proven experience designing and delivering both customer-facing and internal training programs, ideally within a SaaS or technology organisation.
- Strong instructional design skills with experience producing multi-modal learning content (e-learning, ILT, video, blended).
- Proficiency with LMS platforms and content authoring tools
- Excellent facilitation skills with the ability to engage and motivate diverse audiences from frontline users to senior stakeholders.
