The Team

Join our highly skilled and respected HazMat team on the East Coast, and work alongside colleagues who are passionate about mentoring and professional growth. Our team has a strong history of developing Licenced Asbestos Assessors across Queensland and New South Wales, supporting career progression and fostering a collaborative, high achieving culture.

About You

You’re passionate about the HazMat and Occupational Hygiene industry and eager to continue growing your career within our organisation. You enjoy working independently but also thrive in a collaborative team environment, leading, mentoring, and building strong and effective relationships with colleagues and clients at all levels.

Key Responsibilities

You will have experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Conduct and/or manage surveys or inspections for asbestos and other hazardous building materials
  • Complete or oversee asbestos airborne fibre sampling in line with relevant standards
  • Undertake visual clearance inspections following asbestos remediation
  • Undertake asbestos and other hazardous material hygiene supervision on site
  • Manage asbestos remediation projects for clients
  • Prepare technical reports, asbestos registers, management plans, and scopes of work
  • Support the delivery and coordination of large-scale HazMat projects

You will ideally bring:

  • 2–5 years’ experience as an asbestos assessor
  • Licenced Asbestos Assessor (LAA) qualification, or the experience necessary to obtain it
  • Preferably, experience with hazardous materials management software (e.g., TEAMS, AlphaTracker)
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay focused in dynamic environments
  • Highly organised with excellent planning skills
  • Flexibility to travel, including to remote locations
  • A willingness to learn, share knowledge, collaborate with peers and mentor less experienced team members
  • Enthusiasm for contributing to a dynamic, growing team
