Nestled 120kms south of Townsville, in the vibrant landscapes of north-east Queensland, Ravenswood Gold Mine stands as a testament to both a rich legacy and the forefront of innovation. Ravenswood Gold is a private Australian Ravenswood Gold jointly owned by EMR Capital (EMR) and Golden Energy and Resources Limited (GEAR).
Reporting to the HR Superintendent, the Recruitment Coordinator will be based at Ravenswood mine working a 4/3 day shift roster.
About the role
- Provide recruitment support including onboarding and off-boarding, recruitment administration, HRIS/data entry, generation of reports, maintenance of employee records and systems.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of HR systems, processes and data integrity — recommending enhancements, cleaning data, assisting with audits and ensuring consistent approach across the site.
- Build collaborative relationships with leaders, employees, the People & Culture team and other functions on-site; act as a reliable link between the HR Advisor and the broader workforce.
- Uphold and promote the site’s safety culture and operational disciplines in all HR activities — ensuring people practices align with safety and operational excellence
About you
- Skilled in end-to-end recruitment and onboarding, ensuring a smooth and professional employee experience
- Previous Recruitment experience preferably in a mining environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels
