Rate Money is a market-leading team of experienced mortgage professionals focused on supporting self-employed clients with their financing needs by offering bespoke solution-driven loans. We distribute products via our franchise branch network supporting them to promote our lending options to their customers. Our North Sydney head office provides nationwide support to our rapidly growing Rate Money network. Currently over 40 offices Nationally.

As a Rate Money Partnership Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the growth of our national sales network and our Franchise Branch Principals. You will work closely with the sales team and branch network to help identify opportunities, support business development initiatives, and strengthen the partnerships that drive new lending opportunities across the business.

This role sits at the centre of our distribution strategy, partnering with Branch Principals and their lending teams to help grow their businesses, expand referral partnerships, and build sustainable sources of new deal flow. You will collaborate across the network to support sales initiatives, assist in developing new partnerships, and help drive consistent business growth throughout the franchise network.

Responsibilities include:

  • Support our network to grow their businesses through increased lending
  • Assist in identifying, onboarding and supporting referral partners to strengthen business growth and referral relationships across the network
  • Training and support as required for new starters as we continue to grow our network and our loan writers
  • Assisting with escalations and problem solving via our funders and branches
  • Workshopping scenarios across different funders, product knowledge and understanding of products is a must
  • Credit knowledge and learning credit guidelines is a must
  • Reading tax returns and understanding complex structures.
  • Provide and maintain pipeline reporting.
  • Provide status updates for Branch Principals and network.
  • Assist the State Managers & Branch Principals ad-hoc.
  • Liaising with contacts from various funding partners.
  • Assist to identify improved efficiencies and improvements in relevant processes within the business.
  • Contribute to the implementation of processes and systems that improve service standards.

About you:

  • At least five years residential lending experience
  • Want to work in a fast-growing business with plenty of career opportunities
  • Effective at building strong working relationships and influencing for outcomes
  • Ability to work autonomously and a self-starter

  • A solutions-based mindset with the ability to work with all stakeholders of the company
  • Ability to work well under pressure to deliver and being able to prioritise tasks as needed
  • Experience in understanding financial and income documentation.
