Radiology SA (RSA) is a trusted, doctor-owned and operated private radiology practice based in Adelaide, with a strong history of delivering high-quality medical imaging services. Operating across sixteen clinics in the metropolitan area, RSA operated from both private hospitals and standalone outpatient facilities. RSA also provides on-site radiology reporting services to public hospitals in SA (Lyell McEwin Hospital and Port Pirie). Far North Qld (Cairns Base Hospital), and NT (Royal Darwin Hospital).

About the Role:

At Radiology SA, we believe that great healthcare starts with strong relationships. We’re looking for a confident, proactive Medical Liaison Officer to join us in a part-time role, where you’ll play a key part in connecting GPs, specialists, and allied health professionals to our expert clinical teams.

This isn’t a sales role — it’s a purpose-led position where you’ll be respected as a trusted partner and contributor to better patient care. The Medical Liaison Officers play a vital role in maintaining and growing RSA’s referrer base and requires proactive engagement, strong communication skills, and the ability to identify and pursue strategic growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the key point of contact for referring clinicians within your assigned territory
  • Build trusted, long-term relationships with GPs, practice managers, specialists, and allied health providers
  • Promote RSA’s services, capabilities, and high-end diagnostic procedures with professionalism and clarity
  • Coordinate education sessions, referrer onboarding, and sponsorship opportunities
  • Gather market insights and share trends to help shape RSA’s growth strategy
  • Represent RSA at events and collaborate on marketing and communication efforts

About You

You’re a confident communicator who thrives on building genuine connections. You bring a professional yet personable approach to stakeholder engagement and can move between clinical conversations, commercial thinking, and day-to-day planning with ease.

You’ll be a strong match if you have:

  • 5 + years of experience in a customer engagement, medical liaison, or stakeholder-facing role
  • A current driver’s license and willingness to travel locally
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills — written, verbal, and presentation
  • Ability to work autonomously and priorities territory-based activity
  • Confidence in interpreting referral trends, data insights, and CRM systems
  • Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)

Desirable:

  • Background in healthcare, medical imaging, pharmaceuticals, or allied health
  • Familiarity with medical referral pathways and healthcare industry language
  • Experience working to KPIs or territory growth targets
  • Exposure to marketing, stakeholder engagement, or service promotion in healthcare
