We are currently seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our company as a Part-time Security Officer. As a vital member of our staff, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for students, employees, visitors, parents and assets.
This role is based in a prestigious school environment.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure a safe environment all students, parents, onsite staff and visitors
- Assist the Security Supervisor with administration duties and maintenance issues
- Assist with Event set-ups and classroom setups
- Monitor and control access to the premises, ensuring only authorised individuals are permitted entry.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to detect and deter any suspicious activity.
- Respond prompty to security incidents, emergencies or alarms following established protocols and procedures.
- Assisting staff with access issues.
- Assist with traffic control for school drop off and pick up.
- Maintain accurate records of Activity logs, incidents and security-related activities.
Requirements:
- Must have Security Licence.
- Proven experience in security or customer service role, preferably in a educational environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills
- Must have Working with Children Clearance or able to obtain before start of employement.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications.
