Marketing Campaign Manager

Marketing and Brand • South Brisbane, Queensland 4101, Australia • Full-time

Description

About Us

Queensland Music Festival (QMF) is a pioneering not-for-profit arts, music and cultural tourism organisation that connects people to place through music, culture and community. With over two decades of impact, from major festivals to regional Music Trails, our work spans Queensland.

Our flagship initiative, QLD Music Trails, launched in 2023 with a bold vision: to transform Queensland’s extraordinary landscapes into world-class music destinations and build a lasting cultural legacy towards the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

In 2026, QMF will deliver more than 15 events for live audiences of over 15,000 people. To support our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Marketing Campaigns Manager to plan, coordinate and deliver high-quality marketing campaigns across QMF and QLD Music Trails.

About the Opportunity (Fixed-term 2 Years, Full Time)

This is a campaign delivery and operations role, ideal for a marketer who loves turning strategy into action.

You’ll be responsible for planning campaigns, managing workflows and timelines, tracking budgets, coordinating stakeholders and delivering clear performance reporting. While you’ll work closely in a highly creative industry with creative and strategic leads, this role is not a creative position.

We’re looking for an organised, data-led marketing campaign manager ready to kick off 2026 with an exciting new challenge in a fast-paced organisation where arts and culture tourism intersect.

You’ll operate with a high degree of autonomy within agreed strategies and frameworks and play a critical role in ensuring campaigns are delivered on time, on budget and to plan.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Plan and coordinate end-to-end marketing campaigns across QMF and QLD Music Trails
  • Manage campaign timelines, approvals, workflows and delivery schedules
  • Manage paid media campaigns (traditional and digital) in collaboration with agencies and internal specialists
  • Deliver regular campaign reporting, insights and post-campaign reviews
  • Plan and deliver local area and event marketing, including on-ground delivery where required
  • Ensure campaign delivery aligns with brand identity, governance and organisational priorities
  • Support partnership delivery by tracking contractual marketing commitments
  • Act as the central point coordination between internal teams, partners, agencies and suppliers
  • Oversee campaign budgets, purchase orders, invoices and spend tracking

What Success Looks Like

  • Campaigns are delivered on time, on budget and to plan
  • Stakeholders have confidence in campaign readiness and delivery
  • Reporting is clear, trusted and informs better decision-making
  • Partners feel well supported and professionally serviced

About You

You’re an organised, delivery-focused marketer who enjoys bringing structure to complexity. You’re confident managing multiple campaigns at once, comfortable working with budgets and suppliers, and known for your reliability and follow-through.

You bring:

  • 5+ years’ experience in a generalist or campaign-focused marketing role
  • Strong project management and organisational skills
  • Experience in arts, events, tourism or cultural organisations is highly regarded, but not essential.
  • Experience coordinating integrated campaigns across digital, print and traditional channels
  • Confidence working with agencies, suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • A practical, detail-oriented mindset with strong reporting and communication skills
  • Ability to travel and work weekends during QLD Music Trails calendar of events

Tools & Experience (Desirable)

  • CMS platforms (WordPress or similar)
  • CRM systems (HubSpot or similar)
  • Paid media platforms (working knowledge)
  • Analytics and reporting tools
  • Project management tools such as Asana or Airtable

Why join QMF?

  • Be part of a purpose-driven organisation creating cultural impact across Queensland
  • Work on meaningful campaigns connected to place, community and story
  • Enjoy autonomy, trust and a collaborative team environment
  • Contribute to campaigns that matter without being expected to do everything
  • Inclusive and supportive culture
  • Employee-led social initiatives
