Technician (All Levels)

We are seeking a dedicated Technician (All Levels) to join our engineering team in Adelaide, South Australia. This permanent, full-time role is essential for supporting our engineering projects and ensuring the smooth operation of technical processes. The ideal candidate will contribute to our innovative solutions and help maintain our commitment to excellence in engineering.

About Us

QuantX Labs is building next-generation quantum and precision measurement systems, and our technicians play a critical role in bringing these products to life. This is a hands-on role supporting both development and production, working closely with engineering teams to assemble, test and deliver advanced hardware systems.

 What you’ll be doing

• Assembling and soldering electronic and electromechanical hardware
• Constructing and inspecting wiring and cable harnesses
• Performing inspections to verify build quality
• Using tools and test equipment to support build and validation
• Troubleshooting faults using schematics and test methods
• Supporting prototype builds, testing and production activities
• Maintaining workshop organisation, tools and inventory
• Assisting with field trials and equipment setup where required

The role will scale based on experience, from supporting build activities through to leading production and delivery tasks.

What we’re looking for

• Experience in electronics assembly or technical environments
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Hands-on problem solving capability
• Experience using electronic test equipment (desirable)
• Experience with IPC Standards (desirable)
• Relevant qualification (e.g. Cert III in Electronics) or equivalent experience
