People and Culture Coordinator

QuantxLabs is a growing, innovative organisation with a strong focus on building a positive, compliant, and people-centred workplace. We are seeking a People and Culture Coordinator to support our day-to-day people and HR administration and help lay strong foundations as the business continues to grow.

This role is initially offered at 3 days per week, with flexibility around how those days are worked. As workload and business needs increase, there is clear opportunity to grow the role to full time.

This is an ideal opportunity for an early-career HR or Psychology graduate looking to build hands-on experience in people operations, with future exposure to recruitment coordination and broader people and culture initiatives.

About the Role

Reporting into leadership and working closely with an external HR Advisor, the People and Culture Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring people processes are organised, compliant, and consistently applied across the business.

You will be supported to learn, develop, and progressively take on greater responsibility as your capability grows.

Key Responsibilities

People and Culture Administration
Maintain accurate, confidential employee records and personnel files
Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including contracts, inductions, and system access
Prepare and administer HR documentation such as employment contracts, variations, letters, and policy acknowledgements
Coordinate probation reviews, performance review cycles, and associated documentation
Maintain HR systems, trackers, and registers
Support compliance with Fair Work, NES, and internal policies under guidance from the HR Advisor
Recruitment Coordination (Future Scope)
As the role develops, responsibilities may expand to include:
Drafting and posting job advertisements
Coordinating recruitment timelines and candidate communications
Screening resumes and conducting initial phone screens
Scheduling interviews and reference checks
Supporting hiring managers with recruitment administration
Maintaining recruitment records and talent pipelines
Employee Experience and Culture Support
Act as a first point of contact for routine HR enquiries, escalating where appropriate
Support engagement initiatives, internal communications, and culture activities
Assist with training coordination and learning records
Support wellbeing, inclusion, and positive workplace culture initiatives
Liaison and Stakeholder Support
Liaise with the external HR Advisor on day-to-day matters and escalation points
Support leaders with people-related administration and reporting
Coordinate with payroll and finance teams where required

What We Are Looking For

Essential

Qualification in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or a related discipline
1–2 years’ experience in an administrative, HR, or professional services role
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Confidence using systems, documents, and digital tools

Desirable

Exposure to HR administration, recruitment, or people operations
Genuine interest in building a career in HR, People and Culture, or Organisational Development
Experience in a growing or fast-paced organisation
