About the Role
The role is accountable for customer contracts, ensuring that contractual obligations, variations, commercial risk exposure, and pricing assumptions are actively managed to support revenue and margin objectives.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Act as the primary point of contact for commercial and contractual activities for Quantum-Systems Australia.
- Lead and coordinate contract and commercial lifecycle events where required, including contract novation, assignment, or sustainment transitions, in support of the organisation’s evolving in-country capability.
- Support the Business Development function during bid and proposal activities by providing commercial and contractual input, including pricing assumptions, risk identification, and contract conditions.
- Ensure effective handover from bid to contract execution, maintaining alignment between bid assumptions and contracted obligations.
- Manage contractual and commercial change processes, including variations, amendments, extensions, and scope changes.
Qualifications/Experience
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Law or equivalent professional experience.
- Preferable experience in contract management within Defence, aerospace, or complex technical environments.
- Strong understanding of contract risk, variations, and governance.
Desirable
- Experience with Defence contracting frameworks (e.g. ASDEFCON).
- Experience supporting contract novation or sustainment transitions.
- Familiarity with Australian Industry Capability obligations.
