Registered Nurse -Balgowlah

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join Sydney Road Family Medical Practice. As a key member of the clinical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients and supporting our doctors in delivering exceptional medical services.

This is a full-time position but the successful candidate can work with flexibility – casual or part time hours, reporting to the Practice Manager.

Required:

• Prior experience in a general practice setting.
• Availability to work Saturdays twice a month.
• ASAP start

Responsibilities:

• Delivering high-quality clinical nursing services to patients
• Assisting doctors with consultations, treatments and procedures
• Providing health education and advice to patients on various health issues
• Administering medications and vaccinations as required
• Ensuring accurate documentation of patient records
• Participating in quality improvement activities within the practice

Skills:

• Strong clinical skills with experience in general practice or community nursing preferred
• Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
• Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Experience working with electronic medical record systems

Qualifications:

The successful candidate should have:

• Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.
• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Minimum 1 years’ experience working as an RN.
• Valid police check clearance.
• Working rights within Australia.
