Trade Assistant

Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Trade Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to our tradespeople and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. The Trade Assistant will work across all industries and will be required to have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. This is a Monday to Friday role with overtime available when required by the business.

Responsibilities:

• Detail and clean equipment to meet required standards within tight schedules
• Identify and communicate any equipment issues to your supervisor
• Assist tradesmen with various tasks as needed on 1-100t crawler cranes
• Pre-Hire & De-Hire of machines and equipment
• Assist tradesmen on site servicing
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment
• Ensure that all work areas are clean and tidy
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
• Communicate effectively with tradespeople and other team members
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Mechanical aptitude / interest.
• Current drivers’ license.
• Proven computer literacy skills
• White card
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Good time management skills
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
