The Role
PHSA is seeking a suitably qualified Psychiatrist with experience providing assessment and care recommendations for individuals with a workers compensation injury / illness.
This role provides you with the opportunity to implement life changing intervention plans for individuals most in need of assessment, clinical diagnosis and ongoing treatment.
Requirements:
Demonstrated experience providing clinical assessment, care and treatment recommendations for individuals with workplace based psychological injury / illness
Demonstrated experience delivering bespoke reports to support individuals with their treatment and care plan
A medical degree and full registration with AHPRA
Fellowship of the Royal Australasian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists or equivalent
Advanced clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, treatment and care provision
Experience working within workers compensation / personal injury schemes such as SIRA NSW workers compensation
Extensive experience in working with PTSD / Trauma based conditions.
