Female Support Worker in the Disability Sector (Talent Pool)

What is a Talent Pool?

A talent pool is a group of potential candidates we reach out to when suitable job opportunities arise. We are building a talent pool of compassionate and reliable Female Support Workers to assist individuals with disabilities. In this role, you will provide essential care and support, helping clients with daily activities, personal care, meal preparation, and community engagement. You will also work closely with clients to encourage independence and achieve personal goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care and support to individuals with disabilities in their daily activities.
• Assist with household tasks, meal preparation, and transportation.
• Engage clients in community activities and social interactions.
• Implement care plans and follow health and safety procedures.
• Promote independence and empower individuals to achieve their personal goals.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in disability or community care (preferred but not required).
• Relevant qualifications such as Certificate III or IV in Disability/Aged Care (desirable).
• Current First Aid, CPR, WWCC, Medication competency, Manual handling,100-point ID, Infection Control, NDIS Orientation Module, and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong communication skills, empathy, and a caring attitude.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
