The Role
We are seeking a meticulous and driven Platform Billing & Rebates Analyst to join our Operations team on a 12-month fixed-term contract only. The role is responsible for the end-to-end execution and validation of monthly platform billing and quarterly managed fund rebate processes across Praemium, Separately Managed Accounts (SMA), and superannuation products.
This high-volume, deadline-driven role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to resolve complex discrepancies in fee calculations and system outputs. You will work closely with stakeholders such as custodians, investment managers, and outsourced providers to ensure billing accuracy and timely payment of adviser, dealer group, and investment manager fees.
The role involves using platform billing engine, Excel, and reporting dashboards to trigger billing cycles, validate complex calculations, and finalise payments in accordance with strict operational deadlines. You will support the transition of superannuation and SMA billing processes, including the end-to-end calculation and validation of fees across multiple platforms
Key Responsibilities
- Execute monthly platform billing for superannuation and SMA products, including adviser, dealer group, and investment manager fees
- Validate complex fee calculations and reconcile anomalies using Excel and reporting dashboards
- Investigate and resolve billing exceptions such as incorrect fees, mapping errors, or non-advised accounts being charged
- Calculate and process quarterly managed fund rebates
- Contribute to process improvements, testing system changes, and managing operational risks
- Monitor workflows and collaborate with internal teams to resolve asset and cash breaks
This role requires strong attention to detail, comfort with high-volume, deadline-driven processes, and specialised experience in platform billing and managed fund rebates.
