Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Trade Assistant to join our manufacturing team in Wangara, Western Australia. The successful candidate will work closely with our skilled tradespeople to assist in various tasks related to fabrication and assembly. This is an entry-level position with the opportunity for growth and development within the company.

Skills:

– Strong attention to detail

– Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

– Basic knowledge of hand tools and machinery

– Good communication skills

– Physical stamina for lifting and carrying heavy materials

Responsibilities:

– Assisting tradespeople with production tasks such as cutting, bending, assembling and welding

– Loading and unloading materials from delivery trucks

– Provide support in the movement and lifting of materials, tools, and supplies around workshop

– Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure work environment

– Collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines and goals effectively

– Operating machinery under supervision

Qualifications:

– Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required

– High school diploma or equivalent

– Valid driver’s license

– Willingness to learn new skills on the job
