Financial Officer

Ready for a finance role where you can make a real impact and work closely with senior leadership? We’re looking for a Financial Officer to play a key role in the day-to-day financial management of the business, working directly with the CEO and supporting informed decision-making across the firm.

The Role

Reporting to the CEO, you will manage core finance operations including reporting, budgeting,payroll, compliance and process improvement. This role offers variety, ownership, and the opportunity to contribute to both day-to-day operations and broader business outcomes.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare monthly financial reports and maintain financial records
  • Monitor budgets, cash flow and forecasts
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax and statutory obligations
  • Support audits, banking requirements and financial compliance
  • Improve systems, reporting and finance processes

What You’ll Bring

  • Relevant qualification and/or experience in finance and payroll
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Strong Microsoft skills and experience with accounting systems (Xero and Power BI desirable)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and strong time management
  • A collaborative, values‑aligned approach
