The opportunity
This is a pure new business, hunter role.
No account management. No inherited pipeline. No safety net.
You’ll be selling into organisations that likely don’t yet know who we are, educating the market, opening doors, and turning early conviction into long-term customers. You will materially shape Plerion’s revenue engine, go-to-market motion, and ultimately the trajectory of the business.
This role is hard. It’s meant to be. Help us launch Plerion into the US market.
Minimal brand awareness. Finite resources. Lofty goals. Big expectations.
But also: real ownership, real influence, and real upside, for those that have the passion, desire & determination to build something meaningful.
Who this is for
We’re looking for someone who has done this before – or has been close enough to know exactly what they’re signing up for.
You likely have:

8+ years of B2B sales experience, with a strong pedigree of new logo acquisition

Proven startup or scale-up experience (this is highly, highly desired & almost a must have)
- A track record of building pipeline where none existed
- Experience in cloud and/or cyber security (this will dramatically shorten the learning curve)
- A deep understanding that success here comes from discipline, resilience, lateral thinking, and relentless execution
You are:
- A hunter by mindset, not just title
- Comfortable being uncomfortable
- Energised by ambiguity rather than paralysed by it
- Someone who wants to materially impact the business, not just hit a number
- Commercially sharp, but also creative – able to find angles others miss
- Resilient enough to hear “no” a lot and keep going anyway
What you’ll actually be doing:
- Creating and executing your own outbound strategy
- Co-sell motions with cloud vendors and MSP / MSSP’s
- Opening net-new opportunities across SMB & mid-enterprise
- Owning deals end-to-end – from first conversation to close
- Working closely with founders, product & leadership to evolve & execute how we go to market
- Feeding real-world customer insight back into the business
- Helping define what “great” looks like for sales at Plerion
