About the Role

We are seeking a passionate Speech Pathologist to join our supportive team, delivering high-quality, evidence-based therapy services across both clinic and community settings. You will work with individuals with communication and swallowing needs, including NDIS participants.

This role focuses on comprehensive assessment, evidence-based intervention, and collaborative goal setting to support participants to achieve improved communication, swallowing, and overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

Assessment & Evaluation

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, communication, and swallowing assessments using standardised tools and clinical observation
  • Assess, screen, and support prevention of speech, language, and swallowing disorders

Treatment Planning & Intervention

  • Develop and implement evidence-based, participant-centred therapy plans aligned with NDIS goals
  • Collaborate with participants, families, carers, and other professionals to establish and achieve meaningful goals

Progress Monitoring & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation, case notes, and records
  • Prepare progress reports and documentation for NDIS reviews and submissions

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, and Support Workers

Other duties include

  • Undertake additional duties as required to support the ongoing functioning of People First Workforce and InOne Healthcare

About You

  • Qualified Speech Pathologist (bachelor’s or master’s degree)
  • Current Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) membership
  • New grads / entry level encouraged to apply
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Person-centred, eager to learn and grow
