About the Role
We are seeking a passionate Speech Pathologist to join our supportive team, delivering
high-quality, evidence-based therapy services across both clinic and community settings. You will work with individuals with communication and swallowing needs, including NDIS participants.
This role focuses on comprehensive assessment, evidence-based intervention, and collaborative goal setting to support participants to achieve improved communication, swallowing, and overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
Assessment & Evaluation
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, communication, and swallowing assessments using
standardised tools and clinical observation
- Assess, screen, and support prevention of speech, language, and swallowing disorders
Treatment Planning & Intervention
- Develop and implement evidence-based, participant-centred therapy plans aligned with NDIS
goals
- Collaborate with participants, families, carers, and other professionals to establish and
achieve meaningful goals
Progress Monitoring & Documentation
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, case notes, and records
- Prepare progress reports and documentation for NDIS reviews and submissions
Collaboration & Communication
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, and Support Workers
Other duties include
- Undertake additional duties as required to support the ongoing functioning of People First Workforce and InOne Healthcare
About You
- Qualified Speech Pathologist (bachelor’s or master’s degree)
- Current Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) membership
- New grads / entry level encouraged to apply
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Person-centred, eager to learn and grow
