About the Role

We are seeking a passionate Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our growing team.

This clinic-based role focuses on supporting children and their families through comprehensive assessment, evidence-based interventions, and collaborative goal setting. You’ll work with children presenting with a range of developmental, sensory, and functional challenges, including NDIS participants.

Key Responsibilities

Assessment & Evaluation

  • Conduct comprehensive paediatric OT assessments (developmental, sensory, functional)
  • Develop and implement individualised, goal-based therapy plans
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions targeting fine motor skills, sensory processing, emotional regulation, and activities of daily living (ADLs)

Therapy Delivery & Goal Achievement

  • Deliver engaging, child-centred therapy sessions aligned with NDIS goals
  • Support development of functional skills including play, self-care, school readiness, and social participation
  • Collaborate with families, carers, and educators to achieve meaningful outcomes

Progress Monitoring & Documentation

  • Monitor progress against individualised goals and adjust intervention plans as required
  • Prepare high-quality reports for NDIS reviews, funding applications, and stakeholders
  • Use appropriate outcome measures to track functional progress and inform clinical decision-making
  • Ensure all documentation meets organisational, ethical, and professional standards

Professional Development

  • Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain clinical excellence

About You

You are a motivated and compassionate Paediatric Occupational Therapist who is:

  • Fully registered with AHPRA
  • Seeking a balanced role across clinic and community settings
  • Committed to client-centred, evidence-based practice
  • Organised, adaptable, and confident managing a varied caseload

You will also have:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in occupational therapy
  • Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
  • Experience in paediatrics and/or NDIS (minimum experience preferred)
  • Strong understanding of goal-based, family-centred practice
