The Role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced HR Officer to provide day-to-day HR support across our aged care and NDIS portfolio. Working closely with the HR Manager and wider team, you will deliver a broad range of HR services including recruitment, learning and development, health and safety, and employee wellbeing initiatives. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is passionate about people, process, and making a genuine impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update employee files, correspondence, and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures
  • Manage HR administrative tasks, monitor the HR inbox, and assist with payroll-related queries
  • Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Support HR audits, projects, and reporting requirements
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment, including job advertising, interviews, pre-employment checks, and onboarding
  • Ensure recruitment practices align with organisational values and attract high-quality talent
  • Assist with employee events, training coordination, and maintenance of the Learning & Development calendar
  • Support workshops, surveys, and organisational change initiatives
  • Assist with health, safety, and employee wellbeing programs
  • Manage the induction program and support employee engagement and feedback initiatives

About You

  • Proven experience in an HR administration or HR Officer role
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources (desirable)
  • Strong understanding of HR practices, processes, and systems
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Advanced skills in MS Office and HR systems
  • High level of confidentiality and discretion
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Proactive, flexible, and solutions-focused mindset
  • Experience in aged care, NDIS, or a regulated environment will be highly regarded
