The Role

The General Manager – Corporate Services (GM) is a hands-on, proactive, and outcomes-driven leader responsible for overseeing the operational and strategic functions of People First Healthcare. This role ensures that all Corporate Services are delivered in line with organisational policies, legislation, awards, and agreements, while upholding the vision and values of People First Healthcare.

Working in collaboration with the COO and senior leadership team, the GM drives continuous improvement across key organisational functions, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall strategic goals. This includes oversight of Sales & Marketing, HR, Finance, IT/IS and Governance and Compliance departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of Corporate Services, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives to drive growth, improve efficiency, and enhance client outcomes.
  • Build, mentor, and inspire the Leadership Team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, industry standards, and internal policies.
  • Oversee budgets, financial performance, and resource allocation to maintain sustainability and cost-effectiveness.
  • Champion quality assurance, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Represent People First Healthcare in the community, building strong partnerships with clients, families, and industry stakeholders.
  • About You
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within healthcare, home care, or disability Corporate Services.
  • Strong operational and strategic leadership skills with a hands-on approach.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams, develop talent, and drive organisational culture.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Sound knowledge of regulatory compliance, quality frameworks, and financial management.
