Summary:

The Commercial Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in driving financial performance and strategic decision-making within our organisation. Based in Fingal, Victoria, this contract position requires a qualified accountant with a strong background in commercial finance. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure financial objectives are met and will contribute to the overall growth and sustainability of the business.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives.
Prepare and analyse financial reports, forecasts, and budgets.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations.
Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Lead financial modelling and scenario analysis to support strategic initiatives.
Manage cash flow and working capital to optimise financial health.
Provide guidance and support to junior finance staff.

Qualifications:

Qualified accountant (CA/CPA or equivalent).
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in commercial finance or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in financial modelling and reporting tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
