Summary:

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate registered & enrolled nurses to join our healthcare team in Canberra.

We are offering permanent roles, full-time & part-time positions, & casual roles.

Our brand-new Emergency Department features 17 treatment bays, including 2 paediatric acute bays, 4 ambulatory care bays, plus a dedicated resuscitation bay equipped for critical care, intubation, procedural sedation, and fracture & dislocation reduction.

We are equipped to manage the full spectrum of emergencies, short of immediately life- or limb- threatening presentations. We have ample on-site parking and direct co-location with medical imaging, pathology & specialist consulting suites.

The successful candidates will play a vital role in supporting patients’ health and well-being, ensuring they receive the best possible care and attention.

And… No night shift required!

Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor and record patients’ vital signs and medical histories.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Nurse qualification with a valid Australian Nursing Registration.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an emergency care clinical setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Proficient in using medical software and technology.
