Sales Representative / Area Manager – Labels & Flexible Packaging (Maternity Leave Cover)
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a key member of our team based in Oakleigh, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and growing a portfolio of client accounts. Acting as the main point of contact, you’ll ensure customers receive high-quality service and tailored labelling solutions to meet their needs.
You’ll combine your sales expertise with technical knowledge, working closely with internal teams while building lasting relationships with clients.
This is a fixed-term contract role covering maternity leave, offering an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and make an immediate impact within our team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts, ensuring seamless end-to-end service
- Identify and secure new business opportunities through proactive prospecting
- Prepare quotations and manage the full sales cycle
- Build strong, long-term relationships with clients and key stakeholders
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries and solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams across sales, estimating, production, and design
- Attend client meetings, presentations, and networking events
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales pipelines
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the division
- Assist with issue resolution and contribute to quality improvement processes
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organised with excellent time management
- Confident using Microsoft Office and learning new systems
- Sales experience and/or knowledge of print or labelling (preferred but not essential)
