The Role
An opportunity exists for a Bus Driver to join the transport team at Peace.
The College buses provide a morning pick-up and afternoon drop-off service for our students, transporting them to and from school via four bus routes across the Northern Beaches, Redlynch/City, Southside and Smithfield. Our buses are also used for transporting day students to school excursions and sporting events and our boarding students on occasional weekend excursions.
Candidates will be able to demonstrate:
- Proven experience in the safe operation of a bus
- An ability to provide safe transport services to our students and staff
- Flexibility to work on an AM/PM roster with the opportunity for additional driving hours during the day and availability to be rostered for some weekend and school holiday driving (where required).
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with our students and manage behaviour during bus trips
- Current HR driver’s licence and Working With Children card
