Support Worker (Enablement Practitioner)

About the role
The person you will support is a 30-year-old lady, who lives at home with her mum in Chandlers Ford. We are looking for a support worker to join her team who currently provide 2:1 support when going out in the community.
Gemma has a diagnosis of learning disabilities, autism, Tourette’s, and Epilepsy, therefore experience in these areas would be useful in supporting her.
Gemma requires verbal prompts, support, and encouragement with all aspects of her daily life, finances, medication, personal care, shopping, cooking, and attending activities.
It’s very important that her team support her to access a variety of different activities and support her to increase her independence.
Gemma loves to dance and sing to her favourite music, and is looking for fun, confident individuals that can enjoy this with her.
She loves the activities she takes part in, such as shopping, going to the cinema, bowling, crazy golf, nature walks, feeding the ducks and music therapy.
Gemma can become anxious at times and ideally is looking for team members who are decisive, caring and have real passion to enable Gemma to live her very best life.
