As the NSW Regional Manager, you’ll provide strategic and operational leadership to our Sydney-based team, shaping culture, elevate performance standards, and ensuring strong alignment with Paywise’s national strategy. This is a pivotal, hands-on role that blends people leadership,
commercial execution and client relationship management.

About the Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, you’ll balance strong people leadership with commercial impact. The NSW Regional Manager drives regional performance, engagement and
alignment while representing Paywise with credibility and integrity in the market.
Your key responsibilities
- Provide strong, visible leadership in the Sydney office, setting clear expectations for culture, professionalism, accountability and performance across NSW.
- Lead, coach and align leaders to lift capability, engagement and execution, acting as the senior escalation point for complex people and performance matters.
- Drive sustainable commercial growth through senior client relationships, strategic market presence and contribution to new business opportunities.
- Strengthen account management discipline, client engagement and retention, supporting escalations and sensitive employer relationships as required.
- Ensure NSW operations are aligned with group strategy, promoting consistent leadership behaviours, effective cross‑functional collaboration and sound risk management.

Key skills, experience, and qualifications
- Demonstrated senior leadership experience with accountability for people, performance, standards and outcomes.
- Commercial acumen and success in building senior relationships, driving growth and strengthening client engagement.
- Background in financial services, asset finance, novated leasing, salary packaging or a related sector.
- Proven ability to lift structure, discipline, execution and professionalism within team environments.
- Strong influencing skills with the ability to unify cross‑functional teams and embed accountability.
- Calm, confident communicator with sound judgement and the ability to navigate complex or sensitive situations.
- Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills, with the maturity to both challenge and support others.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance or a related discipline (postgraduate qualifications highly regarded).
