The role
As General Manager – Marketing, you
will set the Group’s marketing strategy and translate it into agile, measurable
plans that strengthen our brand and grow membership and revenue. You’ll partner
with the Senior Leadership Team and key stakeholders to align marketing
initiatives to strategic priorities, ensuring a consistent brand narrative and
standout member experience across all channels.
Key responsibilities
- Own and lead the Group marketing vision,
strategy and operating plan across traditional and digital channels
- Deliver targeted campaigns to drive brand
awareness, member engagement, visitation and revenue growth
- Lead and develop brand, marketing and
membership teams—building a high-performance, inclusive culture
- Partner with IT to optimise CRM, marketing
technology, data/metadata governance, website performance and direct
marketing
- Use insights, research and analytics to
monitor performance, refine plans and improve ROI
- Collaborate with Parramatta Eels NRL (PNRL) on
joint campaigns, community programs, digital projects and game day
activations
- Ensure marketing activity and collateral
comply with relevant legislation and industry codes (privacy, spam,
registered clubs, gaming and liquor)
About you
- 10+ years’ experience leading marketing teams,
with senior leadership capability
- Proven success developing and executing brand,
communications, digital, social and membership strategies
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to
translate strategy into practical operating models and plans
- Data-led decision making with experience in
CRM and marketing technology uplift
- Exceptional stakeholder management and
communication skills (written and verbal)
- Tertiary qualifications in marketing,
communications, media or related field (postgraduate qualifications
preferred)
- Flexibility to work key events, weekends, game
days and public holidays as required
