We are looking for a passionate Data Scientist to join our dynamic Data & Insights team. You’ll be part of the team building cutting-edge machine learning solutions that transform customers’ experiences with their parcels moving around the globe—optimizing check-out flows, predicting time of arrival, supporting returns and more.
What You’ll Do:
- Research and develop advanced algorithms for parcel delivery time prediction, product recommendations, customer segmentation, and so on.
- Build scalable machine learning models to enhance checkout processes and customer experience.
- Analyze large-scale structured and unstructured logistics data to uncover actionable insights.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, and Business teams to translate complex data challenges into impactful solutions.
- Stay ahead of the curve with the latest ML trends and bring innovative ideas into production.
What We’re Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or related fields AND 2-6 years of applied science or data science experience.
Other requirements:
- Deep expertise in traditional machine learning algorithms, optimization algorithms, and statistical modeling
- Proven experience building ML models in a real-world product or research environment
- Strong proficiency in Python, and ML frameworks like scikit-learn. Experience with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch is a plus.
- Solid grasp of data processing tools (e.g., Pandas, SQL) and cloud-based environments
- Familiarity with AWS is a plus.
- Comfortable translating ambiguous problems into concrete data solutions
- A keen interest in logistics, e-commerce, or last-mile delivery is a big plus
