WE NEED YOU ON OUR TEAM!

• As a Backend Engineer, you will be a key contributor to our microservices-based systems — writing clean, focused codebases that do one thing well. You will work within established architectural patterns to deliver reliable, high-quality features and services.
• Operating at this level means working in a complex environment involving high-frequency service communication, advanced automation, and a vast landscape of metrics. We choose microservices for technology freedom, resilience, and scalability.
• Such a system isn’t easy, especially with a focus on good engineering practices. But that is ok. We are here for people who want to operate at the next level in their careers.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING ALONG!

Must-have Requirements:

• Core Languages: Solid knowledge of Backend (Preferably Python or Scala).
• Experience: 4+ years of professional experience in Software Development with a focus on Backend systems.
• Database Proficiency: Comfortable with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Communication Protocols: Comfortable with RESTful and real-time communication protocols.
• Engineering Mindset: Clear understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns. Passionate about code quality, productivity, and maintainability.
• Growth-oriented: Willing to learn and research new technologies, step out of your comfort zone, and continuously improve your engineering skills.

Nice-to-have Requirements:

• System Scaling: Knowledge of scaling practices such as in-memory databases, load balancing, and caching.
• Infrastructure: Familiarity with the AWS stack to get the most out of cloud infrastructure.
• Middleware: Hands-on know-how of any Message Queue (MQ) as a communication hub. If you start one today, that still counts.
• Data Engineering: An eagerness to contribute to the data engineering process in an AI-first environment.
• Full-stack Exposure: Wide exposure to multiple technology stacks is an advantage — we love full-stack engineers.
