Paramount Freightlines is a growing Australian transport and logistics business specialising in interstate linehaul, general freight, and project transport. We operate a modern fleet of tautliners and open units, supported by experienced drivers, contractors, and smart technology.Due to continued growth, we’re looking for an experienced Interstate Transport Scheduler to take ownership of our national operations and keep freight moving safely, compliantly, and on time.About the Role– This is a hands on, fast-paced role responsible for the end to end planning and coordination of 23+ company units and subcontractor vehicles across interstate lanes.– You’ll be the key link between drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders ensuring compliance, efficiency, and service excellence every day.Key Responsibilities– Plan, schedule, and manage interstate linehaul movements nationally– Coordinate pick-ups and deliveries in line with fatigue laws and guidelines– Manage and allocate work across company drivers and subcontractors– Liaise with customers nationally regarding load movements, ETAs, and exceptions– Ensure operations comply with NHVAS standards and compliance objectives– Proactively manage driver performance, availability, and utilisation– Respond quickly to delays, breakdowns, and operational challenges– Use transport systems, GPS, and operational platforms to manage daily workflows– Maintain accurate records and documentation to support compliance and reportingWhat We’re Looking For– Proven experience in an interstate / linehaul transport scheduling or planning role– Strong understanding of fatigue management and NHVAS requirements– Experience managing drivers and contractor fleets– Background in general freight and project logistics with tautliners and open units experience essential– Ability to prioritise and stay organised in a high pressure, time critical environment– Confident communicator with customers, drivers, and internal teams– Comfortable using technology, TMS platforms, GPS systems, EWD’s etc– Problem-solver mindset with a proactive and accountable approachDesirable (but not essential)– Experience working with compliance frameworks such as NHVAS, WHS, or Chain of Responsibility– Exposure to modern transport management systems and telematics platforms– Strong commercial awareness around cost control, utilisation, and efficiencyWhy Join Paramount Freightlines?– Join a growing, well established transport business– Work with a supportive leadership team that values operational excellence– Make a real impact on a national operation not just “fill shifts”– Competitive remuneration based on experience– Long-term career opportunity with room to grow as the business expands📍 Location: Smeaton Grange NSW🕒 Employment Type: Full-timeIf you’re an experienced interstate scheduler who thrives in a fast-moving environment and knows how to balance compliance, people, and performance, we’d love to hear from you.
