The Role
Do you thrive on creating unforgettable experiences? Are you detail-obsessed, people-focused, and energized by bringing exceptional events to life? We’re looking for a Conference & Events Coordinator to join our team. This is a dynamic, hands-on role at the heart of hotel where no two days are the same, and excellence is always the standard.
You’ll be the key point of contact for our conference and banquet clients, ensuring every detail is flawlessly planned, communicated, and delivered. From the first enquiry to the final farewell, you’ll play a vital role in creating seamless, memorable experiences for our guests.
General Responsibilites
- Handling all conference, banquet, and event enquiries with professionalism, warmth, and efficiency
- Preparing and issuing banquet quotes within 24 hours
- Taking bookings in line with yield management and revenue strategies
- Producing, updating, and distributing detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to ensure smooth event execution
- Liaising closely with the Business Development Manager, Director of Sales & Marketing, and operating departments to coordinate special requirements
- Ensuring all final event details, numbers, signage, and communications are accurate and delivered on time
- Sending event documentation, standard letters, banquet kits, and wedding kits to clients as required
- Handling guest feedback, challenges, and compliments with professionalism and care

- Previous experience in hotels, events, conferences, or luxury hospitality is highly regarded
Pay & Conditions
This is a Level 4 salarised position under the Hospitality Industry (General) Award. It is a Monday – Friday role, office hours (08:30 AM – 5:00 PM).
