Maroochydore GWM & Renault

Maroochydore GWM & Renault is seeking an experienced and motivated Foreman / Workshop Controller to join our growing service department.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced workshop environment, leads by example, and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service while driving workshop efficiency and productivity.

About the Role

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will play a key role in the daily operation of the workshop, assisting with workflow control, technician support, quality control, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating daily workshop flow and technician workloads
  • Monitoring repair progress and ensuring promised completion times are met
  • Supporting and mentoring technicians and apprentices
  • Assisting with diagnostics and technical support where required
  • Managing workshop efficiency, productivity, and labour sales
  • Ensuring repair orders are accurately documented and completed
  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety
  • Liaising with service advisors and parts department to ensure smooth operations
  • Assisting with warranty processes and manufacturer requirements
  • Driving a positive team culture and leading by example

What We Are Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Workshop Foreman, Leading Hand, or Workshop Controller
  • Strong mechanical and diagnostic knowledge
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
  • Commitment to customer satisfaction and team performance
  • Current driver’s licence
  • Franchise dealership experience highly regarded
