About the Role
As an Accessory Fitter, you will be responsible for the installation of genuine and aftermarket accessories to new and used vehicles, ensuring all work is completed to manufacturer standards and dealership quality expectations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Installing genuine and aftermarket vehicle accessories.
- Fitting bull bars, tow bars, canopies, snorkels, roof racks, side steps and protection equipment.
- Installing electrical accessories including driving lights, UHF radios, brake controllers and reverse cameras.
- Completing pre-delivery accessory fitments.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work area.
- Accurately completing job documentation.
- Working collaboratively with the Pre-Delivery, Parts and Service Departments.
- Ensuring all work is completed efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Previous experience fitting automotive accessories (preferred).
- Mechanical aptitude with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A current manual driver’s licence (essential).
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Pride in producing quality workmanship.
Automotive trade qualifications are advantageous but not essential for experienced accessory fitters.
