Description

About Pace

At Pace Farm, we’re proud of our strong family values that have guided us since the 1970s. From humble beginnings, we’ve grown into one of Australia’s largest egg producers, delivering the freshest, tastiest eggs nationwide. As the leading supplier of farm-fresh eggs and egg products, our mission is to continue setting the standard in the industry by valuing our people and equipping them with the skills to deliver top-quality products and service. With egg-citing growth and expansion on the horizon, now’s a great time to join us and be part of our continued success!

About the role

This is a newly created opportunity to join Pace Farm’s growing ICT team in a hands-on, customer-focused role where no two days are the same. As our IT Support Analyst, you will support users across the business with a broad range of ICT issues including hardware, software, Microsoft 365, mobile devices, printers, connectivity and general technical support across office, farming, production and operational environments.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow their ICT career within a supportive team and fast-paced business, while gaining exposure to a broad range of systems, technologies, users and sites. You won’t be stuck doing one narrow task – you will play an important role in supporting real business operations, solving problems, improving user experience and helping keep the organisation moving, with the opportunity to further develop your skills across systems, networking and infrastructure support over time.

What you’ll do

  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 ICT support to users across multiple Pace Farm sites.
  • Manage tickets, phone calls, walk-ins and service requests through the ICT service desk system.
  • Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, OneDrive and standard business applications.
  • Support user onboarding, offboarding, account setup, password resets, permissions and device allocation.
  • Assist with basic network troubleshooting, including Wi-Fi, LAN, VPN, internet connectivity, printers, scanners and site connectivity issues.
  • Escalate more complex issues to senior ICT staff, external vendors or managed service providers when needed.
  • Follow up escalated tickets to make sure they continue moving and do not disappear into the background.
  • Keep users informed with clear, practical updates.
  • Maintain accurate ticket notes, asset records, support guides and troubleshooting documentation.
  • Assist with ICT stock take, device management, patching, endpoint compliance and general ICT housekeeping.
  • Contribute to ICT projects, site support activities and continuous service improvement.

About You

Are you the kind of person who can’t help but jump in when technology breaks, loves solving problems and genuinely enjoys helping people? Maybe you are the one friends and family call when the Wi-Fi stops working, a laptop won’t connect, or “something weird” is happening with Outlook. You are practical, curious and calm under pressure, but most importantly, you take ownership. You don’t just log a ticket and move on – you follow things through, communicate clearly, keep people updated and make sure problems actually get solved. You enjoy learning new technology, working across different systems and being part of a team that supports real business operations, all while having a laugh along the way. If this sounds like you apply now, we’d love to hear from you!

What We’re Looking For:

  • 1–3 years’ experience in a helpdesk, desktop support, ICT support or junior infrastructure role.
  • Experience supporting Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive (Microsoft Azure, Intune and Dynamics 365 would be well regarded).
  • Basic Active Directory administration experience, including users, groups, passwords and permissions.
  • Understanding of basic networking concepts such as IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, LAN, WAN and VPN.
  • Experience troubleshooting printers, mobile devices, laptops, desktops and common business applications.
  • Experience using an ICT ticketing or service desk system.
  • Basic understanding of cyber security, endpoint protection, patching and access control.
  • Good communication skills and a strong service mindset.
  • A current driver’s licence is desirable due to multi-site support requirements.
  • Formal ICT qualifications while helpful are not essential. Practical experience, attitude, accountability and willingness to learn are just as important.

Why Join Pace Farm?

  • Collaborative, supportive and down-to-earth team environment
  • Opportunity to make a meaningful impact across a multi-site business
  • Ongoing learning, development and career growth opportunities
  • Hybrid flexibility with 1 day working from home each week
  • Monthly office birthday celebrations and regular free product to enjoy
