About the role

Join us as our Area Manager (Manufacturing) – Southern Region. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the efficient operation of multiple egg grading floors and liquid egg plants across geographically dispersed sites. You will ensure production, compliance, and quality standards are consistently met while driving continuous improvement, cost efficiency, and capability across teams. Providing strong leadership and operational guidance to site managers and supervisors, you will ensure operations remain aligned with business objectives and customer requirements.

This role can be based out of either our Euroa or Kinglake West site.

What you’ll do

  • Lead multi-site grading floor operations and liquid egg production (Kinglake West)
  • Ensure production targets, KPIs, quality and compliance standards are met
  • Drive consistency in processes, systems and operating standards across sites
  • Lead, coach and develop Site Managers and Supervisors to build strong teams
  • Champion food safety, biosecurity, animal welfare and WHS compliance
  • Maintain audit readiness and lead responses to internal and external audits
  • Optimise production scheduling, inventory flow and supply chain coordination
  • Identify efficiencies, standardise workflows and drive continuous improvement
  • Manage area budgets and monitor cost, productivity and performance metrics
  • Partner with supply chain, logistics and sales to support customer outcomes

About You

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 2+ years’ leadership experience, with proven capability across multi-site manufacturing, FMCG or agribusiness operations
  • Strong operational mindset with the ability to drive performance, yield and efficiency
  • Experience leading, developing and stabilising site leadership teams
  • Solid understanding of food safety, quality systems and OH&S compliance
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to interpret performance data and P&L results
  • Confident stakeholder management across operations, supply chain and support teams
  • Ability to set clear expectations and hold teams accountable
  • Experience driving continuous improvement and standardisation across sites
  • Comfortable navigating ERP systems and operational reporting tools
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly across Victorian and ACT sites
