Description

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Attendant to join our team in Penrith, New South Wales. This part-time contract role is essential for maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests. As a key member of our travel and tourism industry, you will contribute significantly to guest satisfaction and the reputation of our establishment.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
  • Restock supplies in guest rooms and common areas.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
  • Assist with laundry duties as needed.
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used and stored safely.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests and inquiries in a friendly manner.

Qualifications:

  • No formal education required; however, a secondary school certificate is preferred.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is an advantage but not essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and a friendly disposition.
  • Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and lift heavy items as needed.
