Description

About OzHarvest:

OzHarvest is a leading food rescue organisation on a mission to ‘Nourish our Country’ by stopping good food from going to waste and delivering it to charities that help feed people in need. Through our education programs and our advocacy work, we hope to inspire others to change behaviour and help reach the national target of halving food waste by 2030.

We’re on a mission to enable safe, efficient and nationally aligned operations that turn surplus food into consistent, high‑impact food rescue so OzHarvest can deliver more meals, more sustainably, to the communities who need them most.

About the Role:

The CEO CookOff Fundraising Manager will play a pivotal role in building momentum for OzHarvest’s flagship fundraising event across NSW and ACT. You’ll spend your time connecting with business leaders, opening doors, and turning conversations into confirmed participation and fundraising outcomes — helping fill rooms with influential people who want to be part of something meaningful. This is a relationship-first role, where energy, initiative and genuine care for impact matter most.

This is a fixed-term six-month contract role between July 1 and December 31. The contract will begin as part-time, working three days, which will be increased to five days closer to our CEO CookOff 2026 events over October and November.
