We are seeking a highly motivated person with exposure in a similar role or industry to lead our Richlands Branch. More importantly, we are seeking people with a fantastic attitude who want to grow professionally in a company that values hard work and rewards results. This role is Mon-Fri 7am – 4pm.
The Role
Reporting to the Regional Business Manager, the Branch Manager’s primary focus is to:
- Ensure the financial profitability of the Branch including areas of sales, GP, wages, controllable expenses & profit
- Ensure stock is treated with the highest levels of respect reducing damage in yard, lost products, job remakes and the like whilst ensuring that availability of Class A products remains top of mind for all employees
- Provide strong leadership and management to all Branch employees (sales and warehouse) supporting all recruitment, succession planning, performance management, coaching, training and personal development requirements
- Manage quality customer service which fosters repeat and growth business, training staff as required to meet and exceed the expectation
- Implement & execute business directives that support the business strategy
- Ensure Branch operations are compliant with Company policies and procedures at all times
In summary, the Branch Manager is a key person in the organisation and is responsible for providing the structure and discipline to the Branch operations and is focused on achieving high levels of productivity and efficiency within a safe working environment.
Knowledge and Experience
- Demonstrated people and leadership skills
- High level knowledge of MS Office, Sage, CRM and general ERP systems
- Sales and customer service experience in a large trade, retail or hardware environment would be an advantage
- High level of attention to detail
- Excellent people & communication skills
