Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Process purchase requisitions, purchase change orders, and requests for quotes to suppliers.
  • Perform cost analysis and volume planning for major commodities.
  • Recommend cost saving proposals including make-versus-buy analysis or alternative
  • Sourcing.
  • To ensure all timely delivery of services and material and zero supply shortage incident.
  • To ensure meeting or achieve cost reduction target given by department manager.
  • To ensure multiple sources for the material to reduce supply risk.
  • To manage and develop supplier for the improvement of cost, quality and delivery.
  • To take the lead to resolve supply and commercial issue.
  • To maintain and updates regular reporting on time.
  • To comply and adhere to department SOP and company policies and procedure.

Job Qualifications:

  • Minimum Diploma or Degree in Business and Administration or equivalent, engineering, or others.
  • A minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience will be added advantage.
  • Good command of the language in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Spoken and Written)

Required Soft Skills:

  • Good negotiation skills.
  • Positive attitude with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and logical thinking. Excellent team player, reliable and trustworthy.
  • Computer skill including MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
  • Supplier audit experience is an added advantage.
  • ISO 9001 audit experience is an added advantage.
