We’re looking for a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) Technician to operate and maintain CMM equipment used for precise dimensional measurement and inspection of components and products. Their role involves working with CMM software and hardware to perform accurate measurements and ensure quality control in our manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with programming and setting up CMM machines to measure dimensions and tolerances of dental models.
  • Operate CMM equipment (touch probes, scanners, etc.) to collect accurate measurement data.
  • Compare measurement results to drawings or specifications, with guidance, to confirm quality requirements are met.
  • Record and maintain accurate measurement data, calibration logs, and related documentation.
  • Follow safety procedures and handle measuring equipment correctly during all inspections.
  • Support general metrology and quality tasks as required to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Your Profile:

Basic understanding of measurement techniques and use of common inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).

  • Some experience operating CMM machines and keen to learn programming and inspection setups.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and check parts against specified tolerances.
  • Good attention to detail with accurate data recording and reporting.
  • Developing problem-solving skills and mechanical/technical aptitude.
  • Good communication, organisation, and willingness to learn and improve productivity.
