About the role
Oroton is looking for an organised, detail-driven Stock Controller to support our high-performing Homebush DFO location. This is a fast-paced, high-turnover store that is the #1 Oroton Outlet location so we’re looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, loves precision, and takes pride in keeping stock operations running seamlessly to support the success of this Flagship location.
This role is critical in ensuring accurate stock flow, effective replenishment, and smooth delivery processes across all categories. You’ll work closely with store management and the wider retail network to support sales success through exceptional stock integrity and operational excellence. If you enjoy being the engine behind a successful store and love working behind the scenes to make everything run like clockwork, this role is for you.
This is a permanent full-time role working a Monday-Friday roster (the retail dream!)
You’ll excel in this role if you enjoy:

Owning stock flow: Receive, process, and manage incoming deliveries efficiently, ensuring stock accuracy from dock to shopfloor.

Keeping it precise: Maintain strong stock integrity through regular cycle counts, stocktakes, and system accuracy.

Supporting sales success: Ensure timely replenishment and availability of stock to maximise sales and support the customer experience.

Driving organisation: Keep the stockroom organised, safe, and efficient, even during peak trade and high-volume periods.

Partnering with the team: Work closely with store leaders, VM, and sales teams to support floor moves, promotions, and visual updates.

Problem-solving on the go: Proactively identify and resolve stock discrepancies, transfers, and operational challenges.
What you’ll bring to Oroton!
- Proven experience in a Stock Controller or stock-focused retail role, ideally in a high-volume environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical, organised approach to work.
- Confidence working with stock systems, replenishment processes, and inventory management.
- The ability to stay calm, focused, and efficient in a fast-paced setting.
- A strong sense of ownership and accountability — you take pride in doing things right.
- A positive, team-first attitude and willingness to support store success wherever needed.
