About the role

The Application Support role is responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of core business systems, including ERP, POS, and integrated retail platforms. Supporting day-to-day operations across retail, finance, supply chain, and eCommerce, this role plays a critical part in managing incidents, maintaining system configurations, and collaborating with internal teams and external vendors. The position also contributes to the successful delivery of technology initiatives through testing, coordination, and implementation support, helping drive reliable and efficient business outcomes.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Administer and support core business applications including ERP, POS, and retail systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Manage and prioritise incidents, service requests, and enhancements through the IT ticketing system
  • Troubleshoot application issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate timely resolution with internal teams or vendors
  • Support system configurations, user access management, and operational processes across business applications
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Retail, Finance, Supply Chain, and eCommerce to understand system needs and challenges
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders on incidents, system updates, and resolution timelines
  • Assist in delivering system enhancements and technology initiatives across integrated business platforms
  • Develop and execute user acceptance testing (UAT) and coordinate testing activities with business users
  • Manage and triage defects and enhancement requests during testing and implementation phases
  • Work with external vendors and partners to resolve issues, coordinate updates, and ensure service level expectations are met

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience supporting enterprise applications such as Infor M3 (ERP), NewStore (POS), and other retail systems is essential
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is essential
  • Strong understanding of incident management, system configuration, and user access administration
  • Familiarity with system integrations, APIs, or middleware platforms (MuleSoft) is essential
  • Proven analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve system issues
  • Proven experience conducting root cause analysis and coordinating resolutions across teams
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work across business and technical teams
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly convey technical information
  • Proven experience supporting system enhancements, testing activities, and project delivery (including UAT) is required
  • Strong organisational and documentation skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
