We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Manager to join our Marketing team in Mulgrave, VIC!

What you’ll be doing

  • Increasing brand market share and sales growth via planning and developing marketing strategies and annual marketing plans.
  • Defining, optimising and monitoring A&P budget to ensure delivery of commercial outcomes and expenses are kept within approved limits.
  • Prepare and present business review by undertaking in-depth analysis of channel sales performance, competitors’ review, market analysis for brands.
  • Providing regular brand tracking information to monitor market performance, brand performance against KPIs and competition.
  • In close co-operation with the Trade Marketing team, develop and execute smoothly and effectively promotion plans (consumer and trade).
  • Preparing point of sales material for sales marketing activities, e.g. in store sampling, merchandising, event and trade promotion.
  • Monitoring and visiting supermarkets and stores to check the sales off take of the products, competitive pricing and competitor promotional and new product activities.
  • Conduct market visit with supplier within Australia.
  • Identifying and organising sponsorship activities for sales market that leverage and support marketing strategy.
  • Tracking, analysing and reporting the results of events and marketing campaigns.

What we’re looking for

  • Full Australian working rights and MUST live in Australia.
  • Valid Australian drivers licence.
  • 2-3 years of brand or product management experience.
  • FMCG background with exposure to working closely with field sales team or key accounts team would be preferred.
  • Experience in food business is an added advantage. 
  • Experience in analytical, numerical skills and ability to interpret data and frame issues and opportunities are critical.
  • Experience with Nielsen Scantrack, Coles Unify, Quantium and SAP.
  • Good presentation skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to develop and present business review to management level audience is an added advantage  
  • Takes accountability, proactive attitude, agile mindset and readiness to learn.
  • Multi-task, able to prioritize, attention to details and strong inclination to dive deep in business review.
  • Team work and a passion to drive positive outcomes.
