ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a dynamic People and Culture Assistant who shares our high-performance mindset. The primary purpose of the role is to administer and facilitate various People and Culture activities and assist with implementing the People Strategy.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assist with daily HR operations facilitating the employee life cycle from onboarding through to offboarding, performance and remuneration reviews, benefits administration and maintaining employee records.
  • Coordinate and support managers with recruitment, such as advertising for roles, arranging for interviews and screening candidates
  • Constantly review and improve the new starter onboarding process and ensure the first 6 months is an amazing experience for each new employee.
  • Ensure employee compliance with OHS, police and credit checks.
  • Administer, troubleshoot and implement features from our HRIS (Employment Hero).
  • Support with internal communication and resolution of basic employee queries.
  • Coordinate regular survey and action plans
  • Promote, coordinate, monitor and manage reporting of HR activities
  • Any ad hoc HR activities including but not limited to supporting the Office Manager with coordinating internal events, requests for reports and presentations.
  • In collaboration with the Digital team, research, recommend and support the implementation of AI-powered tools and automate repetitive HR tasks.
