About the Role:
We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) to join our growing team. This clinical role offers the opportunity to work across diverse caseloads, supporting clients with a wide range of nutrition needs including:
- Chronic disease management (diabetes, cardiovascular health, liver disease)
- Gastrointestinal health including Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Irritable Bowel Disease (IBD) and Coeliac Disease
- Paediatrics and family nutrition (fussy/picky eating)
- Aged care and community health
- Weight management and lifestyle interventions
- Nutrition support for disability and NDIS participants including complex presentations requiring long term enteral feeding
You’ll deliver evidence-based nutrition care through:
- Comprehensive assessments applying the Nutrition Care Process (NCP) and personalised nutrition plans
- Client-centred counselling using motivational interviewing techniques
- Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to achieve holistic outcomes
- Group education programs, workshops, and resource development
- Integration of medically ordered tests and results into nutrition planning
About You:
- Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) status
- Solid practical experience in dietetics (new graduates welcome to apply)
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a team environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Positive disposition, empathy, and a client-focused manner
- Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle
- Flexibility to work across clinic and community settings
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with NDIS, chronic disease, or complex comorbidity caseloads
- Group education facilitation or resource development experience
- Interest in contributing to research, quality assurance, or innovation projects
- Training and experience with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) utilising the Monash FODMAP diet protocol
