Occupational Therapist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Optimum, servicing the Ballina and the Northern Rivers from our Ballina clinic. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering NDIS and community aged care services across a mixed case load.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct functional assessments and reports
• Assistive technology assessment and reports
• Provide ongoing therapy for capacity building
• Cognitive assessments
• Provide in-home services including home modifications and equipment prescription

Skills:

• Ability to build rapport with clients and team members
• Strong organization and communication skills
• Valid police check
• Valid driver’s license
• Preferred: Experience in Community Aged Care (Home Care Packages, CHSP and STRC) or experience in NDIS Functional Capacity Assessments

Qualifications:

• Occupational Therapy degree and General AHPRA registration
